Organize greeting cards
Outgoing cards:
Sending all your cards can be challenging because sometimes it is just too many. Easy way to get to send them all without a headache is to divide your number of cards by the number of days you have left till the holidays to get your daily amount of cards to send. That way you don't have to spend a big portion of time doing cards but just couple of minutes every day.
Incoming cards:
Designate an area for your beautiful incoming cards. Can be a basket or a bin to collect them all. If you’d like to display them, fridge or a wall is a great idea. Make sure to update your mailing addresses from the cards you receive.
Organized Gift shopping
To stay organized during the holiday shopping, the easiest way is to make a list. Write down a name of the person and the desired gift idea. Once purchased, cross off the line or put a checkbox next to it. That way you don’t have to carry the ideas in your head, you won’t overbuy and you can track the process easily.
I suggest shopping online or ordering for pick up to save you time and sanity.
Organized Gift wrapping
First asses the wrapping material you already own. Then buy what is missing and replace your stock. Designate a wrapping time each day (like you did with sending greeting cards) so you don’t have to do it all at once. Once the gift is wrapped, make sure you put a sticky note on it with the recipient’s name, so you don’t mix them up.
Prepare your home for the guests
As the family members will be visiting, you want to make sure to be prepared in advance. There is nothing more impressive than an organized home that is tidy and organized. So clear out clutter, clean thoroughly and organize your home spaces to impress the visitors!
